Who knew in the middle of El Monte would be this little unassuming ramen place tucked in a tiny strip mall??? I kept passing by this place and finally tried it. Everything was AMAZING. They even have vegan options! The flavor of the broth was excellent despite it being veggie based. The place is small with about 3 big booths and maybe 4 other tables, so know that seating is limited. Portions were generous. My partner took part of his chicken karaage bowl home. I'll be coming back!
The food was amazing, had delivery from here before but eating there was way better Service was great too, definitely going back!

I've been been to this restaurant many times and what I can say is that the flavors and service is consistently a 10/10. Worth the drive from Pasadena I've tried their Chicharito Roll, they're Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, they're pork fried rice and as a creature of habit, we always order all three and have enough to bring back home. The portions are perfect for me who enjoys to repeat delicious flavors. The restaurant is perfect, not loud at all, always vibing to modern music and I love that the staff recognizes us and even remembers what we like to order. They're super friendly, there's always parking and have never had to wait for a table more than 5 mins. I highly recommend this hidden gem (Tonkotsu House Ramen) in El Monte.
The restaurant is different in a good way. Has anime characters on the wall. The waitress was very friendly and polite. The order was quick and plated nicely. The tantanemen was very good. Full of flavor and just made well. The soup was delicious. The fried rice was good, for me I would have liked some black pepper but a great fried rice. The street tacos were tasty and very reasonably priced. Was in El Monte for a car service, this will be my go to place to eat while waiting for my car.
They were friendly and greeted us and sat us down right away. The food was really good and flavorful. I got the tonkotsu it wasn't as creamy as other places but it was filled with flavor chashu was very good and soft. First place I finish my noodles and have chashu left. The milk tea was good. The prices were really good too. We shall be back.
Nice authentic affordable ramen. Especially love the marinated garlic to go with the ramen. They also have special bundles for ramen + side + drink. Service is super quick and staff is all very friendly.
I love the design of this place! Biased though cause I love the anime design they put up. lol very happy and surprised they have a ramen place so close to where I live! I will definitely come here more often. They have a good amount of specials and the ramen is pretty good. The staff is friendly and knowing anime is a plus haha take a look at my pics to see what I got but all was pretty delish! :
Service was amazing! Benjamin our server deserves a raise! Had a great experience! He stopped by to check on how dinner was going several times. Other restaurants in the area rarely do that. Food was as expected. It was good for the location and price. Atmosphere is definitely the El Monte vibe. Mariachi music coming from the kitchen and pop music in the dining area. If you grew up in El Monte, feels like home, lol.
At first impression, the business looks clean, hipster. The drawings and decore is preaty bad @ss!! I love it! So first time trying this HIDDEN gem! Anyone who live in the vicinity of the are, yall are missing out if you haven't been here. Ambience is great. With great murals on the wall and great music. The staff was friendly , prompted to attend us. I had the Spicy Tontkotsu Ramen with Shrimp Tempura Roll and an order of spicy edamame . OMG, EVERYTHING taste delicious!! Pictures will not do it justice. Come check them out and as usual ENJOY!!
